My son has a long history of not being able to settle himself into sleep. I don't know if that defines "insomnia". He expressed frustration with this for the very first time just this week. We always believed he was "fighting" his bedtime. We have always believed this was a behavioral issue and not physiological. He is now 12 1/2 years old. We believe his performance at school, sports, and his ability to deal with stress is compromised. I would like to explore homeopathy for this issue. Any comments, feedback or advice would be appreciated. I am new at this method of healing.
Thanks,
Adriana S.

If he is tired all through the day, with running around and lots of activities, then I think, by evening time, he will want to hit the bed on his own. Maybe he lacks physical activities...

I would try and give him a homeopathic remedy- coffea 12c (find at your local natural food store) everynight until he is better then stop. hylands or another homeopathic company also makes a calming remedy which contains coffea. try either--If this doesn't work look for a homeopath in your area. www.nationalcenterforhomeopathy.org it can really help him.
