take homeopatic pills if already have condition?

This is about poison ivy rush.

I was already into my 7th day of the rush when I decided to take poison ivy Hyland's pills

after one day of taking the pills the rush appeared in more parts of my body.

Am I giving my body more toxin by taking the pills?

Do these work only as a preventive measure??
